HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

In honor of Independence Day in these fine United States of America, I have chosen to celebrate, in part, by exercising my First Amendment right of free speech (before it becomes illegal to have an opinion that differs from the progressive's of America).

Follow me in my train of thought.....Why does everyone from every nation in the world desire to come to America to live?  What makes America so great that everyone clamors to come here?  Is it the free enterprise system? Is it the job opportunities?  Is it our freedom to exercise the religion of our choice? Is it the freedom of speech? Is it the freedom to travel from sea to shining sea?  Is it the freedom to......well, you get the idea.  Yet, I hear non-stop how oppressive and terrible America is. My constant question is if we are such a horrific country that suppresses every civil liberty imagined, why is it that there is such an uproar for open borders? Why would we want to let the poor huddled masses come here?  Shouldn't we protect them and close our borders so that they are not exposed to these horrors?  How dare we give amnesty to literally millions of illegal aliens and provide them with job opportunities, free food, shelter and healthcare?

Quite frankly, I am tired of the America bashing since President Trump was elected.  I am the first to acknowledge that I was vehemently against Barack Hussein Obama due to the fact that he wanted to fundamentally transform America. And I must say, he did fundamentally transform many things, but not for the better.  Thus, we must make America great again.

We are truly a blessed nation and we only receive that blessed status because when this nation was founded that group of men were wise enough to know that nothing good and extraordinary is possible without our Heavenly Father -- the one who is the Creator of all things....the one who created us in his image and knew that man yearned to be free.  Freedom does not mean anarchy, because with freedom comes responsibility and thus laws and order is required.

So, on this 242nd birthday of America, remember too all the blood that was shed to keep not only our freedoms alive, but to also protect all those other nations that were ruled by evil and tyranny.   God bless all those military men and women and their families that have given so much to help keep our nation free, but most of all God Bless America, the land of the free because of the brave!

Happy Fourth of July, y'all! - Love, Momma Richter
